A cross platform Quicktime EX MOV player it seems
Calibrated{Q} XD Decode
It's important but it's a product so I'm not sure how it survives DVInfo. Someone pointed me to this which was apparently released today. It seems to be a cross platform XDCAM EX MOV player geared towards Macs that don't have Final Cut Pro or Windows users. I don't know much else about it and the website could have more info but it sure does solve problems for some of us who, for various reasons, hand FCP/XDCAM EX MOV to Windows users or Mac non FCP users (clients for example as well as compressionists or motion graphic artists who don't own FCP). |

I confirmed that it's specifically designed to allow those without FCP6 to have full access to EX MOV files on both Windows and Mac. It'll allow any QuickTime based app to use the EX MOV files apparently.
