Knee is always grayed out

After a couple of months of learning the basics, I'm finally digging into the picture profiles to customize my settings. One thing I can't figure out is why the Knee setting on my camera is always grayed out. When I'm scrolling down through the options, the selector simply skips it. Is there something I'm missing?

You probably are using Cine gamma; Knee is only adjustable with Standard gammas.

Thank you Piotr. It was a basic question I guess. I appreciate your taking the time to answer. More to learn for me it seems.

Never mind, Mark. The internal picture settings in the EX1 is an exciting world to discover!
