new VLC Media Player handles EX MP4 files
Hey, the 0.9.2 now plays EX1 MP4 files with audio from the WindowsXP desktop. This makes full screen preview quick and easy, although I still dislike navogating through the folders. I like to setup the Video Filters with deinterlacing. Previous versions played the video, but not the audio.

I think it always has, at least going back a few versions. Good program.

What other software plays EX1 MP4s?
I think Sony's ClipBrowser does not work on standalone Mp4s if they are not in their original folders. |

Anyone know why Clip Browser won't play back all the clips at once? Why do we have to resort to VLC media player to do that?

And not only that - it also plays the converted MXF-files! This is great news!

Why would it not? MXF is just a wrapper like Quicktime or AVI.
However v 0.9.3 does neither understand the DV50 nor the ProRes codec. Means much work to do. pe. |
