I've only run the PHU once, for three hours, no problems. I always get the Restore Media message, though, after I've taken a card out, viewed but not deleted the media, and put it back in. But it hasn't (yet) done anything to the media already on the card.

Matt, are you hand-holding the camera while the drive is running? Wondering if it's getting jostled. My 3-hour test was on tripod.

(love "scaring the PHU-60K out of me..." I think we should use that for all camera build problems, as in "my back focus is seriously PHU-60K'ed up")

Hey is any one still having problems with the hard drive, i was about to order one and now i am not to sure,?

Why don't you go for the cheap memory cards instead ?
You'll get loads more footage space for your money.

I'm waiting on a second reader that is supposed to arrive tomorrow that I need to use right away on a shoot. If it doesn't come in, I'm PHU-60K'ed.
