Daylight LCD Usage
I just got the big B&H catalog that says and recall hearing that the EX1's LCD screen can be used "clearly" outdoors in bright sun light. Is there a button I have to switch to make this so? I'm going to have to do some experimenting with this hybrid technology because today's 11am outdoor shoot was a hit or miss (fortunately it was a hit, I used zebras, viewfinder and histogram to set levels).
I know the flipout LCD screen can do better than this! I think it has something to do with that LCD backlight on/off switch...I guess what I am asking besides how to do it is what results should I expect? I didn't have a problem focusing today in the bright sun but the screen was REALLY dark, even in the shade. |

Menu setting for brightness, i put mine up to +25 because i think that the EX screen is a bit dark anyway, then on top of the cam under the handle there's a brightness/backlight setting.
Paul.
