field / potrable storage device
can this device be used with Sony SBAC-US10 card reader in the field instead of a laptop??? I mean to back up SxS cards

I very much doubt it. Without an SxS driver it won't recognize the cards. I've tried similar devices with no success.

you can use one of these -
VOSONIC you just can't shoot at the same time as you have to use the camera's USB to dump the footage.
