EX1 Wushu Competition Singapore
MY first attempt of a very short trailer I made to test the EX1 under stadium lighting. I do not really like the colours but I didnt know what to do with it! Only did a little CC with native colour curve as I didnt like how it turned out with Magic bullet's film look.
Do advise what I can do to make it more "film" like. Thanks! Singapore Wushu Competition 2008 on Vimeo |

I like your presentation.
Since you can not control the lighting, I would say the best way to make it more film-like is to get closer to the athletes and use a steadicam. The scene looks like a video shoot with the tables and people walking around in the background and the camera at a distance. The film look is more than a camera setting imho. |

Hi Tim, I was not the official video guy so I had only access at the spectator stand =( Hmm steadicam cam would be a real challenge with the dudes flying all over the place ha ha..

What framerate did you shoot with?
The film look seems to be difficult to achieve. I don't film in HD yet, but I am looking forward to trying as well soon! |

50P. I'm in PAL land. One of the scenes shuttered a little as I forgot I was on 25P!
