Changing Lenses On EX3
Did a presentation for Dallas FCP User Group on EX3 and below is link to video of the process of changing lenses. Existing light, no production values, etc etc... But you can get the idea of how it's done.

Changed the standard lens over with the XS13x wide angle. Makes it fairly front heavy to hand hold though. No problems on the tripod of course.
With the standard lens/camera configuration on the tripod, I found that when I tried to zoom with left hand whilst panning with right hand (which I find I need to do often), there is great difficulty in getting to the zoom rocker due to low vf/lens clearance and handle support exactly in the way. However with the XS lens, those issues disappear as the rocker assembly is much further forward. Additionally, I can precisely control my zoom speed with the multi position zoom speed knob on the XS, something that I have used pretty much every time I shoot with my soon to be sold DXCD50/DSR1/Fujinon lens. Love the zoom speed adjustment. I will have the XS17x lens with my EX3 very soon. Just waiting for the EX3 to arrive. Cheers David Issko

Libec (and other) makes a nice zoom controller for the tripod handle. I find it difficult to reach the grip-mounted rocker as well. My zoom controller arrived today and I'm happy with it.
