from PMW-EX1 to compuer via HD-SDI?
After recording with the PMW-EX1 onto SxS ExpressCard media cards, is there a way to import the footage into my computer thru an HD-SDI card so I can convert it to an intermediary format via Prospect HD? Or isn't this the way to go?? Would I transfer from the media card to my Hard Drive and then convert?

I'de go from the EX1 native to the computer and then convert, only one step. If you go via HD-SDi you must uncompress to send over HD-SDi then re-compress from that to prospect etc, so 2 stages of compression, plus your uncopmressed HD files will be huge and require a very fast raid array.
This thread should really be in the EX forum.
