Sony SW to m2t Question
Hi folks. V2 of the sony sw is able to convert directly to mxf and a whole variety of stuff. However I could not find an m2t option for SD stuff from the EX1. How can I skip the firewire capture thingy?
I managed to load files in Vegas which were converted to mxf although it is an m2t. Would it be ok to just rename all the extensions to m2t manually? |

Is there a particular reason you need .m2t? I also use Vegas and I've been editing with the .mxf files.

I thought that the HDV format needs to be in m2t. So its ok to convert even 1440x1080 stuff to mxf? Usually I only convert 1920x1080 and 1280x720 stuff to mxf. Come to think of it, you are right! I should be able to stick to mxf.
