MPEG IMX Codecs missing in XDCAM Transfer?

Hi,

I don't know what's happened but all of a sudden this alert window keeps popping up when I launch XDCAM Transfer. Any ideas?

I have FCP 6.0.4 and OS X 10.5.4 installed and according to the alert, this particular codec should have been installed with anything above FCP 5.

Thanks in advance.

Simon

Simon, I just checked and all of the XDCAM Transfer components are in the green my system with FCP 6.0.4 and Leo 10.5.4.

What you failed to mention is what version XDCAM Transfer you have installed. Is it the latest 2.7.0 version?

I've had a look in the folder where I think this codec should be; Library -> Quicktime, but it ain't; would someone mind emailing it to me please?

Thanks,
Simon

Yep - I have the same problem. But the transfers from SxS to laptop still work fine. Odd - it wasn't happening before.

Simon, I can duplicate your problem by removing the IMXCodec from the QuickTime Folder. Also when I return the codec to the QuickTime folder all is well again.

I've tried to e-mail the component to you but DVi's e-mail process does not allow me sent an attachment. If will send me an e-mail by the regular way (bartanwender@sasktel.net), I will reply with the attachment. Regards!

XDCAM HD422 and XDCAM EX Codecs
