Pdw-u1
Hi,
Anybody have an idea when the PDW-U1 will have the possibility to write EX1 content to XDCAM HD disks? There would be an software upgrade but till now nothing... Thanks |

Seems to be taking forever!
It was initially meant to be April but now I've read in the 3rd Quarter of the year. |

I might be wrong but isn't this what the new Clip browser 2.0 does? It transcodes EX-files in to the two XDCAM HD-file formats with the optional plug in.

@ NAB Sony showed the ability to copy any data, any format to the XDCAM discs, in the windows environment. I actually copied some windows files over to the XDCAM disc at the both.
