Screwed up? I don't think so. However I would be wary of an EX1 now being sold second hand in case it is has vignetting or back focus problems; you would need to check carefully and be convinced about benign reasons for selling a nearly new camera.

I gather there might be folks wanting to get rid of their EX1 to purchase an EX3 - I'd keep both!
