Quickly archiving SXS Card contents

I am newbie with EX1.
I have to cover events that span around 2-3 hours. To start with i only have two 8GB Cards.
To cover the events in full, i was wondering if there is a way to quickly archive the Card contents to a portable harddisk while the other card is being used, without carrying a Macbook Pro with me.

i think you'll need a computer to copy the entire content over to hard drives, external or otherwise.

there maybe a way to copy using linux to those portable storage device made by epson, but i don't know how.
