EX3 lens mount options made clear
So just want to check my understanding of what the EX3 will offer in terms of lens/mount options
1. standard Sony zoom lens - same as the EX1 or 2. B4 option - add broadcast 1/2" or 2/3" lenses then eventually there may be 3rd part options provided for 3. PL/Canon/Nikon mounts?? similar to the current 35 mill adapters available but smaller and better?? I'd love to get a EX3 to provide me with longer lens options - but the only option at the moment as I understand it would be to buy a B4 zoom lens of decent quality which could set me back $35k. Is there anything I'm missing? |

I think you've pretty well rounded out the course.

excellent, so anyone know who's developing some lens mount adapters for 35mm lenses (Canon etc)??????
Has this been done before or is it a totally new things - as compared to traditional adapters such as the Letus, Brevis etc???? mmmmmm would be great to have some of these ad-ons ready to go when the camera is available! |

some interesting things ...
If you can find a Nikon # TM-B1 adaptor (for Nikon to betacam I hear) and use a 1/2 to 2/3 adaptor on the EX 3 you'd be able to shoot good glass, apparently.
