One of the BIG advantages the SxS system has over the XDCAM disc system is that you can use any and all frame rate settings on the same SxS card. I'll often have 1080p30, 720p60, 720p24/60 (overcrank) on the same card. This can't be done on XDCAM disc systems AFAIK.
