Transition seamless?
From the "Features" section of PMW-EX1 Operating Instructions:
"Equipped with two SxS memory card slots, the PMW-EX1 makes transition seamless without any frame loss, when recording is done across two cards." I've tested recording across two cards and it is not seamless, the gap is about 30-40 frames. During the export of the clip spawned across two cards I've got the warning message, didn't write it down, but it was saying smthng like "not all clips were recovered" Has anyone tried that? How did that work on your cameras guys? Was that just a random error, or feature does not work as designed? Many thanks! |

Please read what I wrote in this thread:
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=116133 So yes, it can be seamless - just let the Clip Browser do its job BEFORE you export to mxf!
