New Mac Book Pro Not seeing SS card
Yesterday after a month's wait my new Mac Book pro arrived.
Today I tried to use it but it does not see the SS card when inserted - in fact it does not appear under devices in Finder. Apple are about to pick the machine up but before they do is there anything stupid I am missing? The same card it does not see works perfectly on my Mac tower via the Sony card reader as well as via the same card reader when connected via the USB to the Mac Book Pro - I can then see and browse the card. Its just that the device is not seen when inserting the card into the built in express card reader. |

Did you install the SxS driver yet?

SS Driver
I installed the XDCAM Transfer application.
The card can be seen if in the usb connected card reader but not in the ss slot itself. I something else needed? |

Ya, there is a SxS driver as well. Its on the CD that came with your camera. You can also get it online off the same DL page that you got your transfer software from
