Here are some shots. Pixel to Pixel mode on. Waveform on. Of course these shots do little to show the quality of either. I hope it is helpful.

Do you have that support system because it is too heavy for the hot shoe?

Do you have a picture that shows how the matte box fits under the microphone and LCD extension of the camera? That is one of my worries in terms of the full use and accessorizing of the camera. Also, if you could, please tell us what type of matte box you are using. Thanks.

I have the 7 inch as well as the 17 inch TV Logic. Best bang for the buck.

Yes, among other things. I wanted a follow focus with a whip (which requires a rack). Also the weight of the Matte box, focus, and eventually the 1.6x TC, plus a monitor, battery, all up front would just have been too much. This also allows the monitor to be right back with me at the end of the tripod arm and inches behind he camera.

Photo link above. The Matte Box is from Chrosziel. In general, it seems beatifully designed. If it is set up at the very front of the rails with the filter holders down, the LCD will fit and the filters are easily accessable (I dropped one of the holders down in the photo). ***BUT***, I am not closing the LCD. The fit is so tight that the front rotating filter ring will touch the bottom of the LCD when closing. It would scratch the plastic after time. You might put a thin piece of tape on to prevent this. I use the LCD for additional information when shooting, so I leave it open. When the 1.6 TC comes, it will move the Matte box assemply far enough forward that this is no longer an issue.
