best way to save media to macbook without FCP ?
What's the best way/workflow to save media to a Macbook Pro & external drive without using Final Cut Pro? All of the Sony EX1 Software is installed on the Macbook. Shouldn't I be able to copy the raw (unconverted) footage to a couple of drives for conversion and FCP ingestion later?
thank you. Michael |

You don't need FCP to copy the BPAV folder from a SXS card. The folders can be saved and loaded into FCP on an edit machine later. Do save each card BPAV to an individual named folder or you will be in trouble later when all cards have the same name - BPAV.
