Screw panel beside EX1's USB port? at DVinfo.net

Has anybody noticed a tiny panel located to the right of the USB connection?

It is held in place with a screw. I haven't ventured to remove it but I thought somebody here might know what it is for.

Any ideas?

Probably the firmware upgrade port.. the z1 at least had one

I'm told firmware will come via USB so why the need for a second port?

This seems to have stumped people. Wouldn't it be nice if it revealed an additional USB connector that allowed you to connect to a computer via 2 cables and hence get double the transfer speed! ;) wishful thinking!
