Backing up to DVD

How do I back up a BPAV folder that is larger than 8GB (dual layer DVD) and spread it out over 2 DVD's? I want the meta data to remain intact of course.
Do I need special backup software?
Thanks,Craig

That's what Sony Clip Browser can do. It can intelligently split the BPAV folder into one of several measures such as 8GB or 4GB, etc. It works on Windows and Intel Macs (not on PPC Macs).
