A good LCD Hood for EX1?
Has anyone used a LCD hood that they'd recommend for the EX!?

I bought this one. It works great. Fits well and packs flat. |

Hi Justin,
For a couple of bucks at most, you can make your own, and to the exact size and length you want it. I've done so for my 5 Cams and for friends. Those you found are fine, but my money is better spent on on stuff that I can't make myself. Harold |

Thanks for the response.
But for the time and price, I think I'm just going to be going with the 16x9: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...=536440&is=REG I'm heading over to Africa for over a month and just need something that looks fairly reliable. Thx. |

I picked this up at B&H when getting an EX1. Had it for a month+ and it works great.
Be sure to fold the corner flaps outward (to keep hood's inner corner flush). The two straps are easy to put on, however after putting on the first, the second may require a tiny bit of effort. The hood has to be somewhat forced when using the LCD in a flipped down position. Use cautiously if shooting above head. |
