color aberration in tele shots!

Again: I find the color aberration/color fringing - only in the church tele shots - quite annoying, much more than I would expect from a pro-lens. Really, I never noticed that amount of CA in tele shots of my HV10 and A1!

I find this very irritating (haven't got my EX1 yet). Is it only Wolfgangs (borrowed) EX1 or are there other users who already have noticed this with their own Ex1?

Colors look great, Wolfgang.
What preset did you use for the 25p construction-footage? (Already a special "Winne"-preset?)

Thanks, Wolfgang.
Are you still planning to do an EX1 preset calibration like you did for the Canon A1? (I hope so very much since I have been using your A1 preset very often.)

I'd like to know that, too.

Danke

Anyone using Sony Vegas??? I was wondering how Vegas handles EX1 files. I downloaded those NATIVE files from Ex1, imported them to timeline and.....my computer was able to preview only 3-4 fps!!!!! Beautiful quality but absolutely unacceptable performance. I consider buying Ex1....
How Vegas captures those files from memory cards, will it apply some sort of codec similar when capturing HDV footage???? or they must be kind of "copy paste" from memory cards (in that case it would be almost impossible to work with them having 4fps preview). How Vegas capture those files?

My PC (Q6600 with 4GB Ram, Vista) preview this files in Vegas 8 with 25 Fps. Setting Vegas: 1920x1080, 25 fps (Fullframe), 8 Bit Color

Well I download some of those clips.
Had to change the fie extension to mfx from mpeg.mfx before EDIUS would accept them.

I can have 4 raw mfx 1920/1080 clips playing back real time in pips.

I got a Quad 2.4 ghz Q6600 chip overclocked to run at 3.2ghz running XP with 2 GIGS of ram.
Just single SATA drives, no raid. Running 4 tracks in real time the CPU is at 80%

In fact I can mix it with 1440/1080 HDV & DV, wmv, QT H.264 and it still plays real time.

Thanks for the files!

I'm also wondering why the files names are designated (example) ao1.mxf_256kb.mp4 ?

why not just ao1.mxf ?
