Is this normal for EX-1?
I have had my camera for close to a month and if there is something abnormal, should consider getting replacement if these issues are not normal.
First, on the focus enhance button, when I press it while in 720, 30p mode, I get a one or two second greenish flicker before the enlarged focus enhanced frame appears. Second, I did a shoot with a loud rock band and noticed that the audio auto gain control was allowing over-driven, slightly distorted audio on level peaks. Otherwise, cam is nice, don't really mind the ergonomics. The plastic shell saves me weight and cost. The picture is great, and the integration with Final Cut is fast and seemingly bug free. |

Ive noticed distortion as well using AGC. Its normal but not a very well done feature as it lacks a limiter. |

Thanks Sami,
...And I was in Kaustinen a few summers ago. Gorgeous country. Only problem is, when you do a time-lapse sunset, you have to set it for six months. :) -Chip |

As mentioned, the flicker is normal.
Also, while viewing the audio meter levels, do not allow it to go beyond 80% of the scale. |
