WB Out of range error
All of a sudden I am getting an "out of range" error when trying to WB on anything close to white. Please help.

If there is insufficient light, it can't measure. Try get some more light (assuming you're exposing correctly).

I tryed all exposure levels. Funny, it will balance brow, grey etc, but nothing near white. I have logged over 50 hours on the EX1. This issue has me puzzled.
I even tried pulling the battery and re booting. FYi I am outdoors in the shade and under clear blue Skye Thanks, G |

I got the same thing and I think it was a control setting for the joystick you need to change. Don't have the camera with me but I think it is the "Direct Menu" setting. Try changing it.
