Sandisk 16GB cards
This is the SKU for the Sandisk 16GB card:
SDXVS-016G-P101-16GB It is due out in mid-March list price $899.00, 8GB card is $499.00 I spoke with them today. For now, the Sony's are not so bad. Best, Craig |

Very true....
No price difference, why bother? Now that Sandisk will offer the memory, this will spark competition in other overseas manufactures. Of course, it will be up to Sony to let us use other cards. |

I have yet to see the Sandisks cards in stores. Amazon UK lists the Sandisk for around 580 EURO which is cheaper than the Sony. I would really like to see the price of SxS memory come down quickly. I really can't see why 32GB USB-sticks are 150 EURO while a 16GB SxS card costs around 6x that price. I am sure they are off better quality and have higher writing speeds, but I do feel like Sony is asking a premium price at this moment.
