Total cost...?
I'm wondering what I would spend for a reasonably equipped Sony XDCAM EX, beyond the cost of the camera itself. For example, if I wanted to use 35 mm lenses, so would probably need an adapter, plus the lenses (roughly how much?), plus a find focus(?), plus a new Mac computer, plus the P2 cards... anything else ?? Currently using a Sony VX2000. Thanks.

Rich: The base camera, a matte box, some filters a spare battery a mic and a bag cost me about $8,100. A 35mm adapter will depond on the make and how many lenses you get but a good estimate is another $3-5K
