DOF Is it really that much better?
since it use bigger cmos censors, do you get that much better dof? compared to a V1u or similar camera?

1/2" chips get about 1 f/stop less DoF than 1/3" chips.
So the DoF of the EX1 at a 2.8 would be similar to the DoF of a 1/3" camera at an f/2 |
