Component out tests?
Has anybody taken the bars sent out of the component and checked them on a Waveform and vectorscope?
I remember seeing a post a while back that someone thought the signal looked a bit hot. I was wondering if it was adding setup for example when it shouldn't. I haven't checked on a calibrated monitor yet but to my I thought it looked a bit hot too. I'm also seeing a bit more noise then I expected on some video. Again it may be that I just haven't calibrated my monitors but I'd love to see if someone can check on scopes. |

Great point Craig I also feel it is a little hot. What gear is needed to perform the test?

Thanks Carl I do have a BMIP card but have not used it yet due to the S&S cards. I will give this a try next week if I get some free time.
