"Lit" pixel on EX1 LCD at DVinfo.net

Hi,

Does anyone know Sony's policy regarding 'lit' or 'dead' pixels on LCD's?

I have one continuously blue pixel on my LCD, but don't know if you have to have more for it to be considered 'bad'.

I have an email in to my rep, but haven't heard back yet.

Sony Tech Support said this is NOT in spec and I will be issued a replacement from my reseller.

But it's still a good question - does this cam have a dead pixel masking option?
