Mixing Media
So I have a project in Sony Vegas. Settings are "HD 1080-24p (1920x1080, 23.976 fps)". Most of my footage is 1920x1080 but I do have some slo-mo clips from the Sony EX1 as well. While the slo-mo clips look smooth as silk in a project thats HDV 720-24p (1280x720, 23.976 fps), in the full blown 1080-24p if I render or pre-render the slo-mo is no longer smooth as silk but choppy.
Thoughts? Solutions? Appreciate some feedback. - Ray

Apparently it was the codec. The default was Sony YUV which apparently wasn't a good thing.

Okay, so tooling with the codec has made the slo-mo smooth BUT, it's making the prerenderd vid friggin 4:3. What I'm seeing is that prerendering to the MXF with "HD 1080-24p" selected the settings are actually 1440x1080 and the drop down box with those settings is grayed out.
This is gettin a wee bit frustrating. - Ray
