Forget the usb adapter
don't worry about the slow transfer times of usb express card adapters by sony, just get this for your pcie equipped mac or pc. It isn't only for the laptop guys. Its only $60.

But their blog says they haven't tested it with SxS.
I can't tell from the picture but is the slot going to be at an unreachable place in the back of the computer? It mentions 250MB/s (bytes) through the card and 480Mb/s (bits) through USB. I'm fuzzy about the config. |

That's what it looked like to me. Looks like it eats up a slot and a USB port and puts the access around back. I don't get it either.
I don't know much about ExpressCard34 accessories but are there cards that would be left in the machine all the time so easy access wouldn't be an issue? |
