Rain Cover for EX?
Petrol Bags makes a rain cover (model PRC-HDV) for the Sony Z1. Does anyone know if it will fit the EX?
Thanks. Thierry. |

After doing a wedding in slight drizzle on Saturday, (left my EX at home), I think the first person who makes a clip on plastic cover for the exposed play/reverse buttons on the top of the camera will make a killing!!
What were the designers thinking? I wonder if they are sealed at all, as they are very vunerable to the slightest bit of drizzle when you're outside. Vaughan |

the petrol cover fits really really well. Used it in heavy rain and the camera stayed dry. I didn't though!

Portabrace "Camera Body Armor" case
Portabrace has a protector case/cover for the EX1 and it looks like it includes a rain shield with clear plastic access to various controls on the camera:
http://www.portabrace.com/productA-CBA-EX1 I sent a note to Ken @ Portabrace asking if they have any type of "carry on" case for the EX1, I'll post his reply here. mike

Hi Phil,
Is the rain cover you are using the Petrol PRC-S-HDV? My camera is shipping tomorrow so I want to make sure I order the proper cover since the first day with the camera I will be on the water shooting. Also thanks for all the great feedback and information on the EX1. |

(know this is an old thread, but...) the KATA CRC-15 works well (the CRC-14 is a bit small/snug)

Kata CRC15
The Kata crc15 works just fine. Lots of space for hand movements. I emailed petrol and they are to have a specific cover for the EX1 out in May.
