Can you pull off the Entire 1920x1080 file thru the MacBookPro express slot?
I'm still so confused over all this transferring of the data off the Flash Cards.
Can you record full HD 1920x1080 and pull off the same 19x10 files or does it compress to 1440x1080? Can the MacBookPro handle the Flash Cards through the Express Card Slot and pull off the Full HD 1920 data? |

Brad - you can transfer the full source files (whether full 1080, 720, or 1440x1080) to the MBP through the expresscard slot - just pop the SxS card in the expresscard slot, run the Sony Clip Transfer software (or import directly from FCP 6.0.2 with the Sony Clip Transfer software), and you're ready to go. Works great. The only limitation on transferring is through the iLink port on the camera itself - that will only support the 1440x1080 SP modes from the camera (legacy HDV)
