Any more information from those people who were hoping that footage from the cards could be downloaded (in the field) onto an iPod... or something like this? Or was that just too good to be true. Shall I stop hoping for something like this, and start hoping (David says it's coming, and I believe it, but who knows when) for cheaper cards?

sony could do with bringing out a similar device to the panasonic p2 store. a battery powered hard drive with a p2 card slot that backs up the cards on the road.

Phil, if they're not already working on it, they should be ... who wouldn't be able to use one of those - preferably using the same batteries as the EX1.
