Ex with HVR-DR60
I've been searching around and haven't been able to find out if these will work together. Does anyone know? Has anyone tried it?
Thanks, John Last edited by John Godwin; December 3rd, 2007 at 07:08 PM. Reason: signature |

John, I haven't tried it myself (still waiting for my EX1), but from what I know basing on the reports and the EX1 manual - yes you can use it with the DR60, though in SP mode only. The camera even has an option to set record trigger the SxS cards only, both the cards and a FireWire device (the DR60), or the disk only.

Still waiting for mine, too. That's what I had gathered. There are some projects where using the camera's (hopefully, based on everything I've heard) great imaging but going straight to HDV, essentially, would be fine. I edit on Liquid Chrome (and am getting a FCP system set up) and getting HDV into Chrome from the disk recorder might be very helpful for those types of projects. Thanks for the reply.
