EX1 HDV Firewire? at DVinfo.net

I am anxious to know if the HDV firewire is both output, AND input on the EX1. This will determine if I want this camera or if I should consider the new Z7U in February 2008. I would like the hybrid ability to cover my client bases.

Joel, yes I thought that seemed to be so, but couldn't think of why you would want to do so; hence the query. The answer is "yes".

What prices were you quoted on your cameras in Melbourne (TasmanAV?)? I have not been able to get a camara only price from Sydney.
