Sony PD150 UK repair companies
Hi guys,
Have a problem with constant pixel break up on my PD150, have been quoted £340 for a repair but I have only checked one company. Does anyone know of any good affordable repair places in the UK? Thanks |

I suggest getting in touch with Sony direct.
Some of the Pd150's had some faulty CCD's. On mine I kept getting vertical red lines that would move around and gradually got worse. I know it's not the same problem, but it could be related. Anyway as it was a manufacturing problem I got mine fixed free of charge by Sony. |

unfortunately mine is out of guarantee.
I have now sent the camera away to a different company and been quoted almost £600 for a drum replacement. This seems very steep to me. They also said the parts alone on the mic holder which was loose would cost £77... If I use this as a guide I am quite worried about their pricing... If anyone has any idea who else I can contact I would be very greatful! |

David, I think this could be the recognised Sony CCD problem you're seeing. If that's the case Sony will fix it FOC.
