VX2100 Problem
I was capturing footage yesterday and one minute everything is fine, the next minute all I get is a blue screen and no time code. I don't remember accidentally pressing anything. I tried a few different tapes and it occurred with all of them. Any solutions? Thanks!

is this the camera you shot the footage with? Is the footage shot in LP and you're trying to capture in SP or vice-versa?
These ae the first things that come to mind. Don |

hmmmm, interesting. The thing that comes to mind first is to try another camera or deck to play it out and see if this is still happening.
You might also try cleaning the heads (follow the instructions to the letter) as sometimes junk gets on the heads and prevents playback. Other than that I really don't know what to tell you. Good Luck, Don |

Thanks a lot guys! I just tried cleaning the heads and the video worked again, so here's hoping that's all it was! Thanks for the help.

Need Video RCA Replacement
While using an external video source through my RCA, the camera tipped over and smashed the Video out RCA plug, took the camera apart, have the board part number, need to know where to buy new board for Remove and replace.
It seems to have just knocked the solder joints loose and going to try to resolder, but need backup plan of board replacement. OR Anybody tried to solder in a BNC in replacement for RCA? |
