How do you contact Sony for Service with Professional Products?
Okay, I'm just building up my arsenal of information in case the unthinkable happens or otherwise known as paranoia. I have a new PD-150 and my understanding is that I need to use a different website than what I've been using for my consumer Sony stuff, i.e. my old vx2K. I'm going around the site that Mike has listed many times before and I'm lost feeling like a horse in a glue factory I decide to turn to you guys for assistance. There was a posting on the BSSC site regarding a $50 fee for how to repair telephone calls for Sony out of warranty stuff. What $50 for where to send a broken out of warranty camera? I noticed that there were a couple satelite repair centers in N. California, but the site doesn't post an address. Would you guys know where this maybe? Is there a site like the consumer website where you simply choose the model and voila it tells you where to send it along with a flat-rate labor fee? Thanks.
