VX2000 / hiss / test
I like to start this thread because I can't find any information about solving or not of this problem.
I purchased VX2000 last month and I like to test this unit if Sony did repaired this problem or not. Is here anybody who can explain me step by step the way to test this annoying "hiss" problem? I'm positively sure, this test will help a lot of other potencional buyers of this camcorder, as well as other unsure owners. Thanks in advance. Peter |

Peter.
I'm guessing you are not familiar with the DCIC archives, Peter. A search of the archives here at DVI Community brings up about 35 threads and well over 100 contributions on this subject. Just enter the keyword HISS in the search system. I A search on Google with the search term 'VX2000 sound Hiss ' brings up 8 pages of listings. This issue keeps getting beat to death in every forum that has anything to do with the cameras. Extensive testing has been performed and the 2000 does have some Hiss. Solutions are available and mentiioned in previous threads. The problem is manageable as you will see. If, after you peruse the archives, you still have questions, please re-ask the question.
