Sennheiser lav's adapter
My Sennheiser lav's need an adapter to XLR. Anyone have a suggestion besides the $40 solution I see on B&H. Radio Shack maybe?
I was hoping for a one cord/wire solution but given the money I've spent $40 seems high. Especially since I have to buy for both sets of mic/rec's. Thanks in advance. Mark

I didn't find any decent solutions on the cheap. I ended up with the $40 one. I make myself feel better by saying "I don't want cheap cables anyway, they could add noise to my audio feed." It helps a little.

You can always make your own adapter cables. Or cut the plug off the end of the Senn and put a XLR on. If you intend to put the microphones at the end of a long cable, then you would do well to put an isolation transformer near the microphone so you can drive the long cable with a balanced signal.
