TWO filter questions.....
A friend gave me (a gift) a Tiffen (58mm) Neutral Density .3 filter. Could be this external filter useful for my VX 2000, or I have enough with the Cámera ND internals? The same guy gave me too (I believe he is looking for my sister) another 58 MM filter. The box says ROW1 International Vari color Yellow- Blue, but the filter has this inscription : Vari-Color 58mm R-Y and its color looks like dark orange. For what is this filter?
Thanks FP |

The ND filter may be useful if the 2 ND filters built into your camera are not sufficient. Otherwise it will not be necessary.
The orange filter is used, in black and white photography to darken (primarily) the sky IIRC and to have less effect on objects below the horizon. Probably not very useful for a video camera unless you like bizzare effects.
