60i quality adjustments

im trying to find an alternative to my vx's 60i look, instead of purchasing a new camera with different shooting modes i was wondering if there are any inpiticular filters that help soften the look or anything to help.

Yes, you can get filters to change the appearance but most people elect to capture the best image possible and then change the appearance in POST.
