vx2100 shows black screen with green/multicolored noise Repair or troubleshoot ideas?
My friend's vx2100 shows a black LCD screen with green/multicolored noise randomly being generated. The camera records this way too, so it is not just a bad LCD. DOes any one have any repair or troubleshooting ideas?
I've never heard of this problem before? Thanks for any replies

APPARENTLY, many people have the same problem i am having and sony will repair the device free of charge. Glad I looked around before getting it repaired at my expense. Peace, Rolland

Just happened to me. Glad this thread was here. I had one of the imagers fail yesterday on my VX2100.
