ME 66 for training videos
Guys,
The PD 150 is working fine thus far,and been out shooting with it alot-which is why I haven't communicated in awhile.:>) However,I'll be looking to do training videos in the near future, and was wondering if the Sennheiser ME 66 would be good enough to pick up people's voices in front of me that would be doing the narration. Any feedback would be appreciated.Thanks... |

It's a great mic, but whenever I doing an interview or training type deal, I will either 1) put the shotgun on a boom or 2) wire the speaker with a lav. It all depends on the situation. I don't think I would rely on the shotgun mic locked to the camera if only because you're probably going to be more than a couple of feet away so either you're sound level might drop off if they turn away or you'll pick up a lot of ambient room noise.
