Camera Boom for VX2100?

I am interested in buying a good starter boom. I have a VX2100, any suggestions?

Just created one for my VX2100. $179 for the shotgun mic. $15 for the pvc to make the adjustable boom pole. $4 for a shielded extension audio cable.

These links will show you a couple ways to do it. I followed the instructions on the first link and am quite happy.
