VX2100 -- DV out vs. Headphone out
Most tapes recorded on a TRV22 I have at school play back in my VX2100 and download (firewire) to my computer fine.
But I have one apparently bad tape that was recorded with on that TRV22 which, when played in my VX2100 and sent by firewire to my computer, gives awful dropouts. And yet it sounds fine with a pair of phones plugged in the headphone jack. I wound up recording the audio from the headphone jack. Does anyone know why these two ouputs give different results?

I guess I'll start by knocking out an obvious. Was the TRV22 tape recorded in LP?
I know I can't play an LP tape from my GL1 on my VX2100 without problems. |
