Drop-outs with Sony Digital Master mini DV tape (again)

I used Sony Pemium tapes for seven concerts I shot two years ago and had a couple of audio drop outs on them (not many) and some concerts did not have any. However, I am upgrading to Sony Excellence tapes for a bunch of concerts I am shooting this summer. In fact I just got 60 tapes in the mail as three cameras running really go through the tapes. Do I need to use the Sony head cleaners in all three of my cameras before I switch to Sony Excellence tapes? I am not switching to different company tape only switching to higher grade of Sony tape.

Well actually I only used two VX2100's so far and those seven concerts were pretty much the extent of use for the premium tapes. The third camera has not had any tapes used on it yet as it is brand new.
